What’s The Best Make/model Of Men’s Mountain Bike?
I’m looking for a man’s mountain bike but not sure what’s the best make to get, i think my husband mentioned he liked dual suspension, he has a 31″ inside leg. I have about £150 to spend on one. So any ideas would be helpful i know you only get what you pay for, but that’s all i have. Thanks!

He needs a 16.5-17 inch frame. Don’t get a dual suspension bike for that amount of money. They look good but they eat up alot of energy when you pedal, it all goes into the shocks. The decent dual sup bikes start out at 3 times what you want to spend.
I don’t exactly know of any makes, just go for a bike with a name you can trust and have heard of.
I agree with the person who said don’t get dual suspension, you don’t need it unless you are actually going to go over rough terrain. A front suspension bike should soak up any bumps, and you can buy suspension seat posts which may absorb a tiny bit.
A DS bike for 150 qiud? It’ll be a piece of crap. Even an FS bike for 150 will be a base model bike from a decent brand. You’re best off getting a base model bike from a reputable brand like Trek, Giant, Diamondback, Mongoose. A bike with a chunky tough frame, some decent quality componentry (Shimano gearsets and derailleurs) and basic suspension forks.
For £150 look for ‘front suspension’ only. Focus on light-weight. 17″ to 18″ frame (med. size).
Try Halfords ‘or’ buy a mountainbike magazine (eg MBR) and look for shop adverts selling previous years models (still new and with good spec). This way you could possibly get a £300 to £400 bike for £150.
i was gonna say something like cannondale or scott, but then you said £150
maybe try amazon or ebay or this shophttp://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/leisure-mt…
There are incredible deals at bike shops such as RUTLAND CYCLING (www.rutlandcycling.com) where you can pay on a monthly basis with NO interest . Also WINSTANLEYSBIKES.co.uk and http://www.royles.biz and chainreactioncycles.com
