What Is The Best Cheaper Mountain Bike To Buy For A College Kid?
I’m wanting to start distance riding for cardio and need to buy a used mountain bike. I’m not looking to spend a lot of money but I don’t want a piece of crap. What should I buy?

For distance riding (assuming mostly on pavement) you want a touring bike or hybrid.
Check Craigslist. get a decent set of components (such as Shimano LX and up for mountain, 105 and up for road componentry) and see what you can get.
