What Is A Good Brand For A Mountain Bike?
I am looking for a mountain bike for my BF, I do not want to spend anymore than $500, is it possible to find a bike with full suspension for that price made by well liked brand?

sorry. You arn’t going to find a decent full sus mountain bike for 500, no way.
but, the best possible mountain bike out their for the price is a cannondale f4. It’s a hardtail, but I would highly reccomend you get a hard tail if your on a budget. its more for your money. faster, lighter, cheaper and more reliable. you get more for your money with a hardtail.
specialized is a great brand, so is cannondale and trek.
You should get a used bike
You should try to get a Cannondale or Mongoose on craigslist.com
Many people sell gently used bikes (or never ridden!) for very cheap
