I’m looking to spend no more than £300 on a man’s mountain bike and I’m totally confused by the many brands on offer, I know he wants disc brakes but other than that I’m at a loss of what ‘name’ to go for. Who makes the best mountain bikes please?

My definition of affordable would be anywhere from $150 to $250. Which bike brand do you think would be best for mountain biking, and which do you think is the fastest overall? I know that this question is hard to answer, but what is your personal favorite?

I was wondering if anyone knows what type of mountain bike has a Capital “Q” on the front of the frame. I cannot find any other decals or information on the bike except for a “uniweld contruction” on the bottom of the frame. It is a 26″ bike, green and silver. We bought it from a lady off of craigslist, however she had received it from someone else and didn’t know anything about it. It is a 18 speed, with shocks in the front and back. Anyway, I thought someone may know what the “Q” stands for. Thank you!

I am looking for a mountain bike for my BF, I do not want to spend anymore than $500, is it possible to find a bike with full suspension for that price made by well liked brand?

I am trying to purchase a mountain bike for my fiancee and I and are having trouble finding a reliable brand. Most stores do not know much about the bikes they are selling they mainly state that the brands are not very good when something goes wrong, such as Huffy, Ozone, Next, and more. I am wanting to know a reliable brand of mountain bike that is not way too expensive.

I’ve done some downhill mountain biking on some trails in Colorado and absolutely love it. I live in Indiana though. I want to get into the sport more and was wondering what would be a good bike to buy. Or what a good brand would be to check out, what brands to stay away from?

I’m just starting to get into bmx and need a good bike for beginners. I just checked out danscomp.com. My friend who is just begging and has a little more experince reccomended a lowdown by eastern bikes. Is that a good bike?

I just purchased a mountain bike with Amarillo DS on the side of it, so I am assuming that is the brand. When I look it up online all I can find is things related to Amarillo, TX, which is not what I want. Does anybody have any thoughts or resources concerning this type of bike?
