Despite all the innovation and advancements in bicycle technology, nothing beats sitting behind the broad, sweeping handlebars of a nice beach cruiser. Enter the Della Cruz 2 women’s beach cruiser bike, which is ideal for a casual ride down the boardwalk or a relaxed trip to the coffee shop. Like the top-of-the-line Della Cruz 3, the Della Cruz 2 offers a selection of gears from which to choose (four more, in fact), but the Della Cruz 2 uses a traditional seven-cog freewheel with a derailleur rather than the Della Cruz 3’s SRAM iMotion internal transmission. With the exception of the sleek hidden gear system, however, the bikes offer many of the same features, including a heat-treated aluminum frame, rustproof aluminum rims, and a Diamondback springer Cruiser saddle. Upgrades from the Della Cruz 1 include the seven-speed Shimano MegaRange drive train and the linear pull hand brakes.
