Mountain Bike???
I am looking at a mountain bike ( CROSS PHANTOM GENTS 19″ TWIN DISC FULL SUSPENSION MOUNTAIN BIKE)
But i cant find much info on it, as i found it through Amazon.
I’m 6″2, with a 33″ inner leg,
I’m assuming that this bike is the right size for me, but the picture looks like a kids bike?
Any help would be good.
Heres the link too. http://www.amazon.co.uk/CROSS-PHANTOM-GE…

19 inch is in reference of the frame size. which is measured from the bottom bracket (where the cranks and pedal assembly sit) to the top of the seat tube where it meets the top tube… i’m 5.8 and i ride a 16 inch frame… a 19 should be fine for you.
basically.. when you stand over the bike. close to the seat..but not on the seat.. you should have 4 inches or more between the top tube and your balls.. for saftey reasons
I am 5′8″ and 125 pounds and i ride a 19″ bike. It is a little big for me, and should be just right for you. The reason it looks so small is because it is made to look like a downhill bike, which look kind of short and fat for better cornering and descending but are not as comfortable. If you just want a cool bike then go for it, but if you want one that will ride great i would spend a little bit more and get one made by Giant, Trek, or Iron Horse, as these are my favorite bike companies for the 500 dollar range.
It will be fine. I have a 19in Marin and my inside leg is 32″
Forget this option. Go to a reputable bike shop and they will sort you out. If you don’t know much about bikes I would not buy on the net.
Have you treid the bike shop called DYSONS they are pretty good all sorts of specialised bikes.
lol adore cycling myself and ride a mans bike as I am 5ft10!
