If You Have A Mountain Bike Do The Tyres Need To Be Pumped Up Solid, Or Is It Ok If Their Soft A Bit ?
i have a mountain bike im going to start using, i pumped the tyres but they wont pump up completely rock solid why is this and does it matter ?
theres no puncture or nothing but the tyres wont completley be pumped so their rock solid with no give and i wondered why..
is it important for them to be completley solid ?

maybe the tube (inside the tire) is popped somewhere. If their a little soft it doesnt really matter but you go a bit slower.
-happy trails!
it depends on the terrain. if your on rough ground you want less air in your tires to cushion some of the bumps, however you have to pedal harder with deflated tires.
Have them fairly hard but you need a bit of give for off road. On the road it is easier to ride the bike when they are hard as there is less drag.
i know when there pumped up enough lol when they go bang
