I Have A Mountain Bike And When I Start To Pedal Hard It Squeaks. What’s Going On? What Do I Do?



it’s a power climber Next mountain bike if that means anything. Every time i pedal hard, it squeaks usually on the right side.

    I doubt your Bottom Bracket needs tightening, rather it needs to be repacked and greased. You have metal on metal. Got to a bike shop, they should be able to do it quickly and for about $25.

    Find out which bb you have and then go to this link.http://www.parktool.com/repair/byregion.…
    You don’t have to remove the pedals to tighten the bearing.

    Bottom bracket, pedals or frame. Check with your bike shop if you’re not a mechanic. You need special tools.
