I have a ramp in my yard that is about 2 and a half feet tall. We just made a frame out of ply-wood the size we wanted, and filled it with dirt. My now the dirt has been rained on and snowed on and dried out in the hot sun (in Tennessee), and it is still fine now almost a year later. It is about 5 feet long, so a 50% grade.
