Does Anyone Know A Good Website To Sell A Used Mountain Bike On For Canada?

I live in Vancouver BC in Canada and I know downhill mountain biking is really big here. I have a mountain bike that I don’t use and want to sell it but I’m having a hard time finding a good site to sell on.
Aside from the obvious Kijiji and Ebay of course…

I’ve bought from Canadian Cyclist’s classified ads (see link). That said — and no insult intended (i have no idea what you have to sell) — but most of the stuff there is higher end bikes and components, so it’s not the place for any old bike. If that’s what you have I’d stick to Kijiji or Craig’s list.

I like to buy and sell bikes on Craigs list. However, I have a difficult time selling high end bikes on Craigs, because everyone is looking for a bargain and will low ball you. To get top dollar, you unfortunately will have to use ebay. I use ebay as a last resort, because between the ebay and paypal fees you are looking at least $150 in fees for this price point. If you list on ebay, you might be able to sell locally and convince the buyer to pay cash rather than making payment through paypal. One more thing to think about. I have on occasion decided to take a lower price from a Craigs List buyer, because it wasn’t worth the price difference to pack and ship the bike. I have had UPS and Fed Ex damage a lot of bikes. Sometimes the extra money is not worth the hassle.Good luck.
