You only live once, so get the most out of your time on the bike with the Diamondback Serene Deluxe women’s comfort bike. The top-of-the-line Serene Deluxe is loaded with all of the comforts of the original Serene, but adds such features as custom-formed frame tubes, a 63mm travel suspension fork, Shimano compact cranks, and a super-supple Avenir comfort seat with a dual-density base and memory foam. Add in the Serene’s original specs–which include a heat-treated aluminum frame with Laid Back Comfort (LBC) geometry and puncture-resistant tires–and you have a terrific bike for cruising around your beach town or casual commutes. About Diamondback’s LBC Geometry During the development of LBC Geometry, Diamondback engineers were faced with the challenge of making the comfort bike more comfortable and easier to use without compromising its handling and maneuverability. They started by tilting the seat tube back. Way back. This allows the rider to be seated further behind the bottom bracket and in a lower position, which not only makes for a more stable and comfortable ride, but also allows for full leg extension to the pedals while keeping the rider seated low enough on the bike that both feet can quickly and easily be planted firmly on the ground.
