I need a new mountain bike and don’t want to pay more than £200. All the ones I’ve had in the past seem to break too easily – so am looking for a strong one. Can anyone recommend a model, brand or any other place on the web I can find some helpful information?
Im looking to build a wooden step up to use with my mountain bike. I will put it on a dirt track i built near my house. all answers appreciated. i live in arizona so it has to be durable.
Thanks in advance for answering. I am a Munro bagger and I am looking for a mountain bike to allow me to access some of Scotland`s more remote Munros. The requirements are as follows:-
It has to be able to withstand up to 20 Kms of track and path in each direction,
It has to have enough gears to be easily ridden up hilly paths, and down obviously
It will be getting tied to trees and hidden in the heather whilst I climb the mountian, so it has to easy to immobilise,
It has to fit onto a current shape Nissan Micra.
Should I go for new or secondhand?
Cheers.
I live in Vancouver BC in Canada and I know downhill mountain biking is really big here. I have a mountain bike that I don’t use and want to sell it but I’m having a hard time finding a good site to sell on.
Aside from the obvious Kijiji and Ebay of course…
My definition of affordable would be anywhere from $150 to $250. Which bike brand do you think would be best for mountain biking, and which do you think is the fastest overall? I know that this question is hard to answer, but what is your personal favorite?
Ok, so I’m looking to get a mountain bike. Mostly gonna be for trails or off roading. Not looking to spend a whole lot of money here, maybe 400-500 bucks i guess, but just wondering what is a decent bike for someone beginning?
I’ve just began to cycle again. I had been running quite a bit and got injured. To stay strong, I have been riding my mountain bike @least 5 times a week for almost a month and in order to get a good workout, I ride or use a trainer for at least an hour at at time.
My crotch still hurts! I’ve been fitted for my bike, I’ve got the gel seat, nice bike shorts, I’ve done everything but that’s what’s ending my workout. How long does it take to toughen up?
I will be moving to Bristol (UK) and I understand it’s quite hilly so I want a mountain bike and since I won’t have a car, I will use it to transport things around and don’t want to just use a backpack. But I never see baskets on mountain bikes, panniers occasionally. I only see baskets on non-mountain bikes. When I was in Holland, I didn’t see baskets on mountain bikes (though Holland barely has any hills so mountain bikes aren’t necessary). Is it dangerous to put a basket on a mountain bike? Like it interferes with the gears or something? Thanks
What kind of bike should I need to bike up in the mountains in the snow? It would be mainly snow, dirt, and mud. How much would it cost? How old do you have to be? How fit should you be?
