I have a new road bike, aluminium frame and shimano tiagra group, but is so uncomfortable, I would like to change the frame, because the driving position in Mountain Bikes is perfect. Is possible? Thanks

I notice road bike shoes have two holes and the additional 3 holed triangle. Will SPD (mountain bike) cleats fit on these? Thanks!

I recently bought a Diamondback Coil EX mountain bike. It is a mid level priced bike, around $500. I didn’t want to spend $1000 or more because I haven’t ridden a mountain bike in 7-8 years and the bike I had before was a top of the line Wallmart bike…LOL…so this is officially my first real mountian bike. I bought it because there is a group of people at my church that go out riding every week and I want to join them. I was a BMXer from age 4 until I was in my 20’s so I feel that mentality is going to be my first big obsticle. I went riding yesterday and I had some difficulty on the hills. I would gear down to the lowest gear on the steep hills and would be doing real good about 20-30 feet and then my wheel would spin. Going down hills I am hard on my brakes. Any advice on how to get better as a new mountain biker?

I currently have a mountain bike, and obviously have knobby tires on it that i ride on the trails with. Can you tell me how much faster my bike will go with tires that are more like road tires, and how that speed relates to how fast people go on road bikes.

I have seen this beautifall mountain bike that i want to buy, but may be going abroad at some point, will i be able to take it with me?

I have an older Jamis Dakota mountain bike. It’s a hardtail with front shocks. Not sure if the shocks are original (bought it from someone). Is there a general guideline regarding how much pressure should be in those shocks? They seem like they should be a little harder (i.e. they’re too squishy), but I don’t want to over inflate.

what parts are in the road bike that are not found in a mountain bike? and vice versa? can the road bike that the abuse of the of the offroad trails? and is the mountain bike good in the smooth asphalt or road?

i have a mountain bike im going to start using, i pumped the tyres but they wont pump up completely rock solid why is this and does it matter ?
theres no puncture or nothing but the tyres wont completley be pumped so their rock solid with no give and i wondered why..
is it important for them to be completley solid ?
